Computer help - something eating CPU usage.

I did a virus scan on Monday or Tuesday. Also did Spyware and Adware too.

I'm sure that McAfee is scanning your system on the background. Sometimes, for old computers, it take days to finish scanning if you have large HDDs. Or they'll just rescan it whenever you restart the comp if they didn't finish the first time (I think).
That is one of 2 things.
1) McAfee being stupid again. Not uncommon.
2) Something else with a similar name to Mcafee, such as spyware adware etc.
Try this app, I use it, It's safe. It's kind of like msconfig meets task manager and they both do steroids together.

It'll help show more details about the file and where it is and what other files it's using. Of course it'll also let you terminate it too. It's great for getting that extra little bit of info you wish task manager could give you but doesn't.

Well I uninstalled all McAfee's stuff and reinstalled. Problem is gone.
