Funny considering I bet I'm the only one out of this entire thread who has taken a sworn oath to uphold the constitution and protect it at all times.

But, you go on believing what you will. =]

**Edit**

Good job at using the Nazi card. When do I get to see the racist card too?

Look, just because I don't believe what you believe -- doesn't make me a fascist. Just because I believe in American culture and its ideals, and think its better than a lot of other ideals and cultures, does not mean I'm a fascist or a racist or intolerant.

In fact, you're the one who is intolerant of my views, not the other way around.

Last I checked, "my people," allow your people to spout crap about me and my fellow Republicans 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on virtually every major news outlet around -- yet you continue to call this a nazi state, a fascist state and sooner or later you'll use the racist card.

In reality, you are the one who is intolerant -- intolerant of me and my ideals, not the other way around.

It would be lame if I didn't take it seriously, but I do.

Show me a clause in the Patriot Act I or II and show me where it violates the Constitution.

Don't use your own words, find me the exact wording from the Patriot Act itself -- and tell me (in your own words) which right it violates.

Granting certain crimes an exemption from due process.

Please, show me the statement from the act itself.

And by the way, if it's determined to be an act of war -- or a military action against the United States -- it can be exempted from due process.

After 9/11 the U.S. changed its mindset on terrorism from a law enforcement role, to a military role.

Nonetheless, show me the actual text from the act.

No. I already know what you'll say so I'll just play out the predictable arguments in my head instead of wasting your time.

"They aren't US citizens so they have no rights"

"It says a right to a speedy TRIAL, that doesn't mean we can't sit them in a prison for 40 years before we even charge them with something"

"Blah blah blah 9/11 blah blah WMD blah security blah"

If terrorism is a military matter why is the FBI interrogating the detainees at GTMO?
