Parking for $20 a day is actually CHEAP (in NYC). I used to pay $10 a day - that was downright a steal...but this was in the bumblefocks AND this was 2001. Nowadays, depending on location, the median is actually $30-35 a day.

"No right turn on red in NYC!
In every other city in the United States you are allowed to make a right turn on a red light after a full stop. However, in New York City this is illegal, unless otherwise noted by a traffic sign."
http://gothamrally.org/cs/laws
"THERE IS NO RIGHT TURN ON RED IN NYC UNLESS INDICATED BY A SIGN."
http://www.fodors.com/miniguides/mgr...ction=tra&pg=2
"There's no right turn on red allowed within the city limits."
Are you thinking of Westchester and Long Island, where it is legal to make a right on red unless noted by a sign?
