Yeah I saw that concept Camaro about 10 years ago and it was originally a mock up for Hot Rod magazine.

I wish I still had the magazine but I do remember that exact mock up design.

There are no test photos of any supposed 2008 Camaro because a 2008 Camaro isn't necessarily being developed at this time.

GM is consolidating its number of platforms and there's not really anything in their current lineup that a relatively cheap Camaro could be made out of. They had a platform in the works called Zeta for lower-priced rwd cars than the Sigma platform that Cadillac uses, but scrapped it.

Now they are considering making a cheaper, "Zeta-lite" platform, but that plan has yet to be confirmed.

So maybe if/when that gets going, a Camaro might perhaps start its way towards production.

there have been rumors since the camaro went away in 01.
the 40 year anniversary is in 2007 which is the date i've heard most often.
(owning a camaro for many years, and loving all generations of the f-body, i frequent alot of camaro sites h: )

we can only hope. :happysad:

but yeah, there isn't anything currently being developed.
