That "concept" pic hit the web at least a year ago, if not earlier.
GM has their RWD coupe, it's the Pontiac GTO. And they've been having trouble selling it.
Why would GM compound the problem by engineering a duplicate for Chevrolet?

The GTO name implies a more dramatic visual package.
h: I'm one of the few guys who liked the understated look. In fact, if they were going to be so conservative with the rebadge, I would have introduced it as the Pontiac Monaro.
