Not only is this car a gas sucking hog, it's even bigger than the 05 model.
I just can't believe how stupid a move this is. One review I read said this car is clearly an example of Mitsubishi trying to make a quick buck. But they've done it all wrong.
While other manufacturers have realized how good an idea an AWD turbocharged car will sell, the company who brought it to the world isn't reaching thier potential.
I mean some people say they're putting all their eggs in one basket, referring to the Evo, but why aren't they willing to have two cars with those capabilities?

Auto makers don't want to confuse the public as well as split sales among their line-ups. This is causing the decline of GM ... similar cars under different badges. If you can sell a 260Hp i4 turbo Eclipse for $25K, why would people want to buy an Evo for 29K?
I'm all for the turbo Eclipse, but I understand why they aren't doing it.
Now I see. Stupid auto-makers. They should sell them for the same price. JK!
It just seems like the DSM could actually perform better than the Evo if they had kept going on it. For a little while there it was dubbed the Mustang killer (by one of those magazines).
