Tired of this shit!!! So far I have been revved on , fugged with so many times this year. What gives?? I soo wanted to get out and beat the shit out of these ppl who think they are all hard and fast. The only thing that was stopping me were the consequenses.

No offense to the ppl on this board but the ones that are a nuisance are the young ones who probably just got into the scene. I feel like I am being disrespected by these newcomers who think they know it all.

The scene used to be more enjoyable back in the early to mid 90's. This was when: NOS was for cheaters , 15 inch wheels were considered big , ppl sporting super wings just cause the Supra had it , stickers everywhere , racing stripes , home made mods , and I can go on and on. Yes , i know , some of those things are considered rice these days.

I'm seriously thinking about selling my car and getting something more respectable (no offense). Dont get me wrong , I love my car but it just attracts trouble and unwanted attention.

Sorry guys/gals if I offended anyone , just wanted to vent.

I feel the same way some times, but I do get out of the car and scare the little kids, or smoke them.

 

For reals. I feel old sometimes but I'm a kid at heart.
I love cars but , dayumn.

 

Thats why you get something quick, yet refined so you dont have the ricearoni bothering you all the time.

 

I love cars too and always will but I pretty much just own my car and rarely if ever drive it. I switched over to 4 wheeling because I can involve my kids in it. The import scene is pretty much a young mans sport and it has too much attitude and testosterone involved for my tastes.

I still go to the drags and hang out with people and help them work on their rides but as far as being part of the "import community" it has shown me no love for the most part so I moved on.

 

That would be nice but I just bought a house last year here in Cali and you know the cost of living out here is ridiculous. Wont be able to afford a project car , a daily driver , and a bike at the same time.

it was great a few years ago when i could go out on friday and saturday nights and hang out with other car people. but after the repeated stabbings over insults involving cars...it died here in my town.
