Does anyone have an idea where the files go or how I could rid of them?

TIA
Out of interest, what is the capacity of your hard drive? It may be partitioned.

I know for me after a couple weeks my temporary internet folder starts filling up and my compressed old files gets very sizable too. Try that and see how much space it's taking up and clean it out. Hope that helps.

i did a few of the things mentioned here:
http://forum.osnn.net/showthread.php?t=19979

if you're worried about needing something later, you could:
1) backup to an external HD before deleting (which i did)
2) burn a copy

i restarted and haven't had any problems since deleting. i gained around a gig of space.

1) Access Apple.com
2) Purchase G5 PowerMac (or iMac)
3) Throw PC away
4) Turn on Apple

Fixed.
