We ship ~400 boxes a week.

Usually sending 250 UPS, 135 FedEx, 15 USPS.

In our experience, UPS > FedEx > USPS > DHL.

most of the things i order are delivered by UPS, while they do take a little longer than Fedex, its much a more enjoyable experience to deal with the UPS workers, they have better attitudes.

Also, most UPS drivers are employed by UPS. FedEx drivers on the other hand own their trucks and get paid per package.

I would have to agree with that... the local UPS people and my neighborhood UPS driver are great people. I got to know them very well when UPS lost track of the Apex'i N1 coilover set that I ordered and was shipped through them... They were nice... but their phone people and the people running the distribution centers, though, bordered on incompetent to pure douchebaggery.

i heard fedex is dirt cheap for super large packages but you would have to bring them to their loading dock.

Yea, heavy packages are much cheaper through FedEx.
