I don't see the logic in why they are illegal.

Well, SEMA wants it stopped. They figure if they could ban spinner hubcaps, that just makes it a step forward to banning all aftermarket wheel/hubcaps.

i never understood why/how some people think they look cool. all the other stupid lame "rice" accessories, as dumb as i personally think they are, i can still at least see why some people would buy them...but the hubcap spinners..... id rather rock altezza lights instead :eek4:

The law is not talking about the lame plastic things you get at Pep Boys.

The spinner part of any bling bling rim is considered to be a hubcap. So this law would effectively ban all wheels that have any piece to them other than spokes or rim that does not rotate directly with the rest of the wheel.

Yeah they are fugly but, if you dont like them dont look at them.

My guess is that the spinner part can become loose and spin off and that would create a problem. :eek4:
