i personally would just take the 4290 and put it towards a "new" car. but thats cuz i cant go a day without a car
h:
if i had a beater to drive around, id take the 3490 and sell the b18c and the rest of the parts and put all of that into a separate account until i have more than the 4290

i do have my jeep, but it guzzles gas and i do drive a lot, also gas prices are soaring in my area again. not to mention the floor is rusting through :nervous:
my dad keeps saying "drive the jeep during the summer...take a break" what the fuck is a "break"?

I figure just on the swap itself you'll be able to sell it for more than $800 so you're already ahead of the game just from that. Add in assorted other stuff and you could make some more money, but it wouldn't be all at once of course.
Also I'm a bit confused on this salvage deal. They give you a check for $800 less and you get the car back. But what's with the bid from the salvage yard? Do you have to give the car to the salvage yard once you strip off whatever parts are on it? Is there any limit to what parts you can take? I don't get it.

Take the car back...part it out...use the money towards a car you can actually afford...put the rest in savings.
Trying to buy a car above and beyond your means is just plain stupid and shows that you are immature and irresponsible with your money. Once you have bought an M3 then what about your insurance costs, maintenence costs, etc?
I seem o remember you talking about being in over your head on the Teg anyways so why double that with an overpriced car you really can't afford?
Finish school and during that time live within your means, you will thank me later for this advice even if you hate me now for my honesty
