definatly part it out. You could probably make another $5-6k just from the parts!

i just thought of that myself.

i'd be losing 800 from the initial settlement, however, i'd have it sitting here. i already know someone who is interested in buying the whole thing as is. i'm sure i could make that 800 back and then some! my suspension has less than 10K miles for god's sake, my carbon fiber lip is constantly being asked about, and my JDM fogs with my own switch harness/relay would surely sell

Buy it back, part it out and then you'll have a lot more money to play with. You'd be foolish not to.

I see everyone's point in wanting to part it out, but IMHO, parting out everything could take a helluva long time, even if it is a GSR. Not to mention that youd have whatever is left to worry about

i've done this before, the rest of the stuff i just throw up as free, just pay shipping.

the motor alone would well cover the 800 buck loss

and I would pick up the rear brakes at the summer PA meet if that was possible h:
