I like mine with some nice rye bread, and sharp cheddar cheese. Coat the outsides of the bread with olive oil, use shredded cheese (it melts better). Put mustard on the inside of the top piece of bread. So I cook the bottom slice open-face for a bit, throw on a big slice of tomato, put the top bread slice on and flip it over. Oh boy is it tasty.

So how do yall cook your grilled cheese?

 

American Cheese, White Bread, Coated with Butter, Bacon inside, and a pickle.

Butter in pan, melt, throw in one slice of bread, put in the rest, put on the other slice, eat.

dark rye with swiss cheese. butter on the outside. dipped in mustard.

although my friend said to use mayonaise on the outside instead of butter.. didnt really enjoy it

 

normal on white, and pieces of tomato.
