heat skillet
spread 2 slices of white bread with butter
sprinkle one buttered slice with garlic salt
put non garlicked buttered side down in pan
lay on 2 kraft singles
lay garlicked buttered side up
flip
repeat flippage until golden

mine gets soggy... how to I get it more toasted?

let skillet get hot before laying buttered bread down. it needs to start the sear asap or soggyness will occur. h:

you can also use an oven and it will not be as soggy

Wheat bread, american cheese, dipped in ketchup...sometimes I put sliced deli ham on it.
