Default intake and filter

so I went ghetto and got myself an ebay generic 3.0" Short RAM for the h22a motor. I'm now looking for a reliable place to get an A'PEXi Filter for that 3" pipe. Does anyone know any reliable place that I can get them for a good price?

I froogled it but for some reason, the look of the filter made me skeptical. The one picture shown on A'PEXi website is a lil different where as the shape of ther filter is more like a cylinder rather than the cone looking type resulted from those websites.

Thanks

Yes do tell how you think that one is truly better than the other. I mean you went generic with the intake pipe so what reasoning could you possibly have for paying about $10 more for the Apexi over a tried and true K&N?

better filtration and gain? :dunno: I have K&N now, just want something different. I save the 10 bucks (by choosing the generic) for the A'PEXi one h:

They use the exact same setup only difference is the badging.

Both use rechargeable and washable cloth filters.
Both have mesh screening.
Both have the same design.

One costs more and has an A in its name and is associated with the JDM bandwagon jumpers as cool.

really? I thought I read a review about the test they did and the A'PEXi came out to be better?
