:dunno:
If I ws trying to sell a product and was trying to sway a buyer from a $5 item to a $15 item I would say the $15 item is better too.

People are so easily swayed by advertising

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and assume your Accord is stock. With that being, you should save your money, keep the K&N, and buy another performance part. You're fine with the filter you have now.

Ok well I need to read more I guess h:

It was a translated test and I see why you are going for it, but not any reasoning behind the cost difference between the two. The only real difference between the two is the design on the filter housing. Aside from that the filters themselves are identical in design not withstanding overall size of the filters themselves.

If you think it is because you are expecting to gain 14hp over the 13hp that the K&N gives then you are falling for advertising again since there is no way in hell an intake gives those kinds of gains.

He is swapping the H22 into it.

Oh derrrrrrrrrrr, I didn't see that.

Either way, he's still fine with a K&N.

:werd:

I like mine just fine and clean it regularly to keep the flow going like it should and replace it once a year anyways. When I replace it I simply clean the old one and charge it then keep it on a shelf to swap out when the current one gets dirty and go in rotation.

Thanks Chris for the suggestions, I've already got most of the "performance" stuff I need for my two H22 powered Accords, I think, :dunno: I can't use the K&N filter that was on my original accord because it was made for 2.5" pipe.

1/. One is running stock H22a with intake (which I'm choosing the filterfor), Header, and 2.5" piping catback with Mugen Replica muffer, Eibach Sportline and Koni Yellows, ST sway kit. I'm working on that one now as it'll become my daily driver within a month.

2/. The 2nd one is going all out, H22 bullet proof for FI, Tokico Full Race Coilover, Full-Race GT turbo kit, + misc.

So yea, I'm looking for something to play around with while waiting for the H22 to be build up.

Oh John, why you keep pushing me? I was trying to hide the fact that my lazy ass doesn't want to clean the filter every month or so h: No, I don't expect to gain that much power since my is a 2.2L 4Cyl motor, not a Skyline's

Sounds good. You have good taste in turbo kits. Stick with the K&N, you're fine with it.
