What brands do all of you run?

I want to add a 1 gig stick to mine.

1. Will I have problems if I use another brand other than Samsung?
2. Also will adding something like PC3200 to my PC2700 cause problems? Should I stick with PC2700?
the pc3200 will only run at pc2700 speed so don't worry and you don't have to stick to a specific brand unless you want to

Just ordered 1gb for gf's pc and 512 for the raptop... debating if I should pick up another 1gb for my system, but I'm looking for 3700's.

Anthony,

Forget that crap, pick up a set of corsairs's for about $80 and much better. Search on newegg.

So mixing both a 512 PC2700 with a 1gb PC3200 won't cause stability problems?

what chuck said plus provided your MB supports 512MB modules and 1GB modules (some don't) then it will be fine.
