Need some opinions on a Clarion headunit
CLARION DXZ945MP
$330 shipped, I'm ready to buy it, but I haven't found many reviews on it. anyone have any experience with it?

the quasi-5.1 really does it for me.
I'm torn between that and throwing down a bit more for an eclipse unit. But this one is much more inticing. and cheaper

i also have a clarion (soon to be switched with alpine) but it's an awesome unit.
i had the ribbon cable connecting the faceplate to the unit break, so i had to order new ones and solder them on. but that goes with all units and wear.
i've only played around with that HU at a store, it's pretty nice :thumbup:

not a big fan of clarion. the display on that looks like something out of a sci-fi movie. their product line is good one year, horrible the next. alpine and kenwood are still top dogs with clarion and panasonic following behind.

That seems a bit pricey for what seems to be a decent system, nothing really too fancy...
