Do you like the phone? Do you like the service? I'm ditching Nextel now that I'm moving to Manhattan.

 

Probably should ask people in Manhattan. But my mom and brother has Cingular (ATT GSM), and it works good around here. I am still sticking to my Verizon for now.

 

I have cingular. I have no problem with their service as it's served me well for the 8 years that I've had it. Though I'm not using a cingular phone, I think they're great. Can't say the same for your area as I'm using it in southern cali.

 

i have verizon here in upstate NY. works great whenever i go to a yankees or knicks game.

 

cingular over hurr, i get service everywhere except for jungles and in the ocean.

 

My new job gives me an allowance of up to $100/mo for a cell phone. I like Cingular because of the rollover minutes. Verizon seems to have some competitive plans, though.

my phone was free (nokia 3200) so i cant complain

 

:werd: minus the free nokia. I've never had any problems in Manhattan. Just make sure to check your bill statement if you change your location.

 

I had cingular back in the day, it sucked...I switched to AT&T, which is now Cingular, and it sucked too. Now I'm with T-Mobile, and I'm much happier with my plan and coverage.

 

cingular>t-mobile Why? because its with att now which means more coverage.
I have att. I hated it to death a year ago. I love it now. I get more coverage than sprint, verizon, and t-mobile. (I have friends whom are with those companies) The only downside is the motorola phones. Currently i have a motorola v551. Compared to nokia, motorola sucks. (also some dude that works at motorola also said that nokia is far superior to motorola.)

t-mobile customer service sucks... att customer service sucks back then. i don't know about now.
