Audiobahn A800T- 800watts 2ohm continous
Kicker L5 12' solo baric
ground cable is about 3-4 feet in length

i used some electrical tape to tape off some of the 12v wires that are in there.
Needless to say that did work but, it only limited the noise.
I guess Ill just take out the whole rack and run the speaker wires around the other side.

Thanks for your help guys.

are you talking about alternator whine? if so, find a better ground and/or use a common ground.

just simply wrap some metal foil around each of the wiresabout a foot in either direction from their closest point, and make sure the metal foil doesn't touch from each wire.

I run both my power and signal cables along one side of the car without a problem. But I'm only running one 400watt amp.

In my old accord though, I had the same setup. But the signal cable ran right over the power for the rear wiper. I just wrapped the power wire for the rear wiper (or whatever one it was) in foil wrap and the problem was solved.

It's just a problem of shielding, grounding, and insulation.
