Friday - saw Kung Fu Hustle and had Pho for dinner
Saturday - went to Chicago for Passover then had a night on the town
Sunday - woke up around noon, had a good 2-hour conversation with my grandma about assorted stuff, drove back to Madison and then ran into the girl I thought wouldn't want to see me anymore cuz she got $700 worth of tickets while hanging out with me; but actually she wants me to "give her a call sometime"

Thursday: Started setting up something that i will post pics of when it is complete.
Friday: Went down to my gf's for her mom's b-day
Saturday: Relaxed w/ my gf and then had dinner that she cooked for her mom's b-day
Sunday: Took my gf to the Kelly Clarkson concert for her b-day.

thursday - went to a party, eh it wasnt bad
friday - went to a stag
saturday - went to the mall, went to a broads house, then went to a bar
sunday - worked, then chilled at a friends house

 

thursday: get into a club for free and free drinks all night -busted by ass doing some bboy moves in front of a bunch of ppl cuz some fool spilled something on the dance floor.

friday:attempted to goto a house party but my roommates girl was tripping so we never went.

saturday:went to another club and met this chick that i have been seeing around campus but never talked to. danced with her a little then set up a time to meet at school on monday.

sunday: helped my brother move and studied for a final on tues.

about the girl, she never showed up. she was with some of her boyfriends friends that night and she probably got into trouble with her man. oh well.

 

I bought bootlegs of CSI. It was 20 bucks for all 4 seasons so... with my folding chair, laptop and speakers and some slim jims... It was in no way like home, but not too bad for Iraq

How are things going in Iraq?

 

It's pretty decent here. Just outside the walls and fences it's a whole different world though. I've been to the Baghdad University a few times on human relations missions and it's a lot like I imagined Mexico would be. With the really rich over here and the really poor over there. With just a little bit of in-between.
Iraq is a really messed up place even without our being here with it's cultural, religious, ethnic, political and financial differences. I would say things are leveling out and even going up in some ways though.

 

Friday - Studied, HAN
Saturday - Went to Lowes and bought some rose bushes and stuff for the house, Studied, HAN
Sunday - Studied, Went to Sears :rick: and bought SOME tools, and the studied and wrote a speech.
