Summer work
back in college I worked at a hotel as a banquet server/bartender. Normal pay was $12/hr plus tips for bartending... that was pretty good. I also had a really super-easy pool job that didn't pay well, but didn't require any real work either, so that worked out well.
I was gonna go to alaska for the commercial salmon season this summer, but I got a job at a real estate office instead.

It is. A lot of kids don't work during the school year though. I just get lucky since i get my spending money from my parents instead of credit cards or student loans.

But there's a good sense of pride in having some of your own money in your pocket, even if it isn't much.
And you're less likely to procrastinate on work...

AA degree yep. but you don't even need a degree to start a business. you just have to know what you're doing.
