if the radio is brand new out of box, there's a GM, metal, spacer wrapped around it that could be taken right off.
when you remove the metal spacer, you'll uncover 2 screw mounting holes. 4 screws all together will hold the new radio in place.

ahhh yes, terminology owns me....
I'm not sure what car the radio is going into, but if it's "double din*" then don't get suckered into a "universal mounting kit**".
in the lower model 6th gen accords, they got this cool din pocket with door to fill gaps.

these run for $18 ordered from the dealer, under $10 if you search ebay hard enough.
much better than the other option,

a pocket, with no door.
* the Alpine radio chose is "single din" basically, if the place you're putting the radio into is 2x the size of the radio, you have "double dins"
** universal mounting kits proved an extra "pocket" to fill the space for the extra din. without anything there, you'll have an exposed hole under your radio.
