Okay,we have this guy over at the Mafia who posts nothing but "Mustangs suck,Mustangs are slow,blah,blah,blah" and does nothing but post Import vids.

He keeps telling us we're closed minded and that we're "gaying the site up" with our closed minds.

I told him if all he wants to do is talk Imports and post/watch Import vids that there are a ton of Import sites out there for him to do so.That the site he is on now is called Mustang Mafia,not Import Mafia.We don't come to MM to discuss imports nor to listen to people bash Mustangs.

Only reason he isn't banned is because he's good friends with a regular Stanger and the owner of the site is afraid to lose the Stang poster (whom I don't care if we lose 1 Stang poster to rid ourselves of a troll).

Who do you think is right,me or the Import guy.Switch rolls and imagine it's me here doing that stuff.How would you guys take to it?Flame me?Probally.

 

Trolls suck in general, but are a part of the internet.

If this guy is a constant hassle and brings nothing positive to the board, just ban the account. Easy as that.

We pretty much pull the trigger on 99% of the trolls out there.

We actually have quite a few domestic / euro owners here than contribute in a good way, bring their ideas to light in a polite manner, and are fun in the OT room.

 

personally i don't care for any kind of trolling on boards, whether it be against imports, domestics, or whatever. it's annoying and benefits the forums in no way. i know that many other members feel this way as well. i think we're pretty good at banning most trolls that pop up now and then.

Ban, don't matter who he's friends with, if he's causing the quality of the board go down, it's not worth the trouble.

That's the thing,he thinks posting that stuff ups the quality of the board.Personally,I don't think it does.It's a Mustang forum,and people won't wanna come if all they see istuff about Mustangs sucking and nothing but videos of Imports racing.Why?Because people go to Mustang forums to talk Mustangs.When I wanna discuss imports,I go to import forums.
