fox news is no less valid than the NY Times or any other major news organization.

the only difference being, they tend to hold a more conservative view while the other 95% of news organizations are liberal biased.

fox news is typically blasted and dismissed as nothing more than right wing propaganda here, and by most democrats i know. i don't personally watch or read fox news, so i don't have an opinion on it.

The thing is, controversy has to be easy to understand and sensationalist, and people are disinterested in things like campaign finances of a presidental hopeful that failed and a man using a psuedonym to change the course of presidental press conferences. It doesn't make people buy stuff.

Republicans are just the ones to complain about media bias the most cause they're usually the ones doing the stupid sensationalist things h:

While the direct news itself isn't that bad, and veers to a slightly-right-of-middle viewpoint, the commentary is way off in la-la land. My old roommate, who was a classical Republican and a devout Catholic, referred to Fox News as "Entertainment that appeals to my dirty conservative side". I don't have a large problem with the news reporting itself, but the commentators on that channel are notorious liars and often pull facts out of their ass...

as long as he recognizes its biased, which it is. I've met too many republicans who think its waay unbiased. Its like me listening to the Al Franken show and saying it doesn't have a liberal slant.

I don't see what the problem is since both sides have their own shitty bias to listen too, and middle ground is available.
