Default Why is my car so slow!

I have a '96 accord LX. Yesterday my friends tried to test me on the highway. Friend A drives a '95 Chevy Lumina, Friend B drives a '96 Buick Park Avenue and Friend C drives a '79 Buick Regal . I thought that all of these cars were made for grandparents, but one by one they all dusted me. I thought Hondas had a little extra get-up-and-go. Or maybe it's just mine.

Cause it's slow. All those other cars have more than 4 cylinders I'm sure.

accords are made for grandparents too cept buicks come with v6's + upwards of 180 horse and over 200 ft-lbs torque

you got owned cause you don't understand the idea of power/weight ratios, ala my friend in the forrester ...oh its not fast at all. look at it.... vs. some mnoron with a 2.0 jetta

oh yea... you said the magic word... "highway"

I was legitimately asking. I didn't understand how their cars were burning mine. Maybe I could understand the Chevy because their known for having strong engines but not the Buick. Now its time for some upgrades.

its simple... Honda accords are slow from the factory. This includes all (vtec and non) but especially the lx non vtec. Put in a few twists and turns and you will be ok (assuming you are not an idiot and end up in the woods). With 130 hp and just a tad more torque you will get smoked by most mini-vans and trucks out there much less buicks and chevys. I had a 1988 Chevrolet Caprice, and I would smoke ricers all day long with my 300 ft lbs of torque. Bolt ons wont help either. To make an accord fast you need some serious funds. Im goin the turbo route and we shall see where it ends up.

And seriously, what the hell is the deal with all that stupid animated crap in your message?... it takes away any legitimacy your question may have had.
