If you don't mind my askin, do you get to write your photo gear off as a "business expense" tax deduction?

Yep

for my taxes I can write off the following:

Camera gear (lenses, bags, memory etc.)
Computers (3 of them used to edit and process)
Internet connection
Website expenses (still in development)
1/3 of my house (office in home)
electricity (partial because of operating expenses)
Travel and lodging(its all business)
Small portion of what I invest in my Jeep (work related costs and transportation)
Part of my gas bill for my truck

It's not as much as it seems but it can add up by the end of the year to a nice little write off.

Canon has two 70-200 f/2.8 zooms, both are L, one with IS and one without.
