Steroids
With all the news of the baseball players and now some NFL players taking them I'm curious if any of you, or a personal friend have done them?
I personally could never bring myself to taking them, I've only done a few supplements like Creatine and some protein shakes. I've seen a few guys in my gym that you can tell have taken them. I remember seeing a guy with a regular muscular build one week and about 2-3 weeks later he looked like he gained 40lbs of muscle and he was completely ripped.

i would never, ever take something like that.
i'm not saying it's right, but if sports were my life ... i'd be tempted. it's not to become the best player of all time, it's only to keep up with the people that are on roids.

I take them.........nothing hardcore like they are taking but just the basic stuff.........IMO if done properly where u don't abuse it, then it is no worse than all the other supplements out there. Also when I started I was about 183 pounds and had a max bench of 265..........in about a month it had increased to 320. I only took the recommended doses and didn't abuse it. Also just because you take them does not mean you will get really strong. You still have to train your ass off. I was in the weight room about 3 hours a night. Its a personal choice and yeah it might not be the best for your body in the long run, but just like anything else we do that isn't good for us like drinking and smoking.

No real side effects besides when I do cycle I notice acne and i normally have a pretty clear complexion(sp?) and sometimes it feels like bloating but I dunno what that is from. Right now I am at about 203 and I actually haven't taken them for a few months as I'm now trying to do more cardio and get rid of some beer gut
When I'm in a bulking phase though I will probably take them again. I will probably stop once I hit late 20s........I never do a full 6 week cycle because the following weeks are such a drop in performance that its depressing. I usually only do 3-4 weeks because I still get good gains but then it doesn't decrease as much.
