ING is pretty good. been with them for almost 18 months. got 50$ for opening an account and another 80$ for referring friends so far. interest rate is very competitive, but not the highest anymore. there is another i-bank called www.emigrantdirect.com (i think they're trying to copy ING direct) that offers 3.25% currently vs. ING's 2.8%. but yah, you are asking about ING and i can tell you they're totally legit and i've had no problems whatsoever. transfers in and out take 1-2 business days. i found it very easy to link bank accounts, set up direct deposits, and even link to my brokerage account.
