I actually wanted the other one...the Koleshiya (tear). I ended up with mine a few years ago as a joke. Now it is a "JDM" thing to have :squint:

Dun lie, you really wanted it. j/k. I've seen the stupid air freshener version as well.

I 've actually had people coming up to me asking what it was. I gave them different answers ranging from "parking permit", "yakuza", "bridge toll sensor".

I havent seen the air freshener thing. I just have my good ol squash.

Only JDM parts on my car are the door garnishes and I suppose the rims but its pretty pointles to worry about it. I just do what it takes to make it nice in my eyes and since its sitting on stock option rims most the time then I guess you could say I don't care much at all.

Not too sure about this 'competition'.

I don't think I am very JDM at all, but another forum said I tried way too hard to be JDM :reechy:

People who are crazy about JDM should go visit Japan and see what "JDM" looks like when everyone has it because that's the norm.

It's kinda like relishing an "exquisite piece of pottery from a foreign culture" and then finding out everyone in that foreign country uses the dime-a-dozen things as a bed pan.

That being said, there are things JDM that I wish we had; engine, accessories, etc.
