Peter broke Joey's rib in the first round so that's probably part of the reason why. I admire Joey for not giving up. The simple fact that he came back in 3 and 4 simply using his right was pretty awesome. I thought he was actually getting a slightly big head but it's cool that he later admitted that Jesse was right and that it would be a learning experience for him. Also, I think, what better person to lose to than Peter Manfredo? Good sportsmanship in that fight too.

I hope Bonstante loses next week too. h: It's one thing to fight hard and show a good example for your kids but I think he's playing it up too much and using it as an excuse for trying to take the easy way out of each situation.

I'll give it a 6/8 hehe I was waiting for bostante* to get his ass kicked. He's so cocky he deserved those 2 upper cuts that took him out good.

 

i didnt mind the cockiness attitude....its when he starts going off on his kids that freaking annoys me.

How fitting for Bonsante to go out the same way he did Brent Cooper. After trying his best to pave the easiest path to the million, it still just came down to who found the better opportunity to land the winning punches...and Jesse obviously had the experience necessary to see the opening even while not primed. Even if Bonsante won this fight, I just could not see him winning against Peter, Sergio, or Alfonso.

Relating to last week's episode, it was pretty cool to see that Jesse was still concerned about Joey.

As for next week, looks like it might be Manfredo and Alfonso again.
