No way am I tipping for that process especially since they are not tipped employees where part of their wage depends on your tips. They have full medical and more than fair pay scale.

From what I heard, being a "driver" for UPS pays almost about $80k a year. They get full benefits and the works. They get paid well for what they dont do well sometimes.

It was kinda heavy. Plus he has to open my gate then walk to the porch. Walk up the steps ( about 6 steps )
only twenty bucks leaves my pocket.

No, no, no. A UPS driver does not make 80k a year. I'm thinking they make around 18 bucks an hour, and that does not come close to 80k a year, unless they have all kinds of overtime pay. Anyway, i'd never tip one either. They are paid better than average for what they do. I used to read meters for the power company, and did'nt make as much as they make. Reading meters, up to 700 plus a day, and cutting peoples power off(back on), is i'm sure, a heck of alot harder than delivering packages and boxes.
well,..im not bragging that im rich or anything but 20 bucks is nothing.
Its just like tipping your waitress at a restaurant.
Instead I tip him every once in a while....Not for ever single thing he delivers.
I tip the mailwoman, UPS guy, ( not anymore )and when the furniture guys came to deliver my leather sectional i gave them 50 bucks.

maybe they do in CA? :dunno: I've heard of some drivers making 70-80K with OT I'd say it's very possible.
