Nope, it's not Honda, it's Subaru. They have been choses as the top automaker for having the most reliable vehicles on the road this year. Not the best vehicles out there, just them most reliable ones. Peep the link:
Subaru takes top honors

I don't put much more then a grain of salt in those kind of results. Ask any Subie owner about the 2.5 litre head gasket problem from 1999-2003 thats had bad enough luck to see them pop.

Subie makes great cars but only time will tell if its truley a good car

My 1989 BMW E30 325is is more reliable then any new BMW out today

I will not even believe this. It's not because I'm biased, it's because not even a few months ago, a friend on HV posted charts showing overall quality for the 2005 year and subaru was way down there by VW.

not long ago, the buick was rated the best. This, however does not take into account one simple fact, the NSX was rated the highest quality, most reliable car in the world, up until they cut production to 200 per year where it no longer qualified for those ratings as a consumer car.

Not surprising at all, Subaru is exceptionally good.

These reports only give a slice of the real story. They are only counting "number of problems". A 100 person servey is hardly scientific, just a glimpse. While clearly Toyota and Honda come out in JD Powers on top (as expected), these surveys also don't total up the COST of the problems (shows severity). For instance, BMW comes out on top, but my mother's BMW needed a new transmission before 40k miles. Gee, that's just one problem. But one BIG problem.

So one new tranny in a bimmer needed counts the same as say a faulty window mechanism on a Honda.
