i dont play that many games, just the old unreal tournament and starcraft. i want to start editing video somewhat.

there isnt really a limit to the price.

I think an ATi 9600XT should be plenty to play most games for a while. Or even go for a 9800Pro if you want.

video editing is processor intensive, not video card intensive
