The car was probably involved in an accident that involved a new trunk lid. When the bodyshop finished putting the letters back on, they missed one.

If you notice the model number on the trunklid of a BMW appears to be the wrong place, it probably is the result of laziness at the shop. I see it all the time.

 

but i cant see anyone forgetting a letter when they're all right in front of them... and i think the "corolla" emblem is sold on a sticker, that u just peel the backing off.. and press on.. so they stay aligned..

 

Then what do you think happened here? I mean, with your years of experience in the car business, you must have some theory. :P

 

i was gonna say the tail/brake lights on the trunk lid of the accord are out. :dunno:
