Sorry but the 993 Turbo w/ the wide-rear end is much better than the 997.

However, the 997 is a serious improvement from the land-of-bland 996.

Rich, nice.

But I'm not all angry about them moving to liquid cooled models -- because to me, the only thing an Air Cooled car means to me is that I can't drive it from 3-6pm Monday through Friday on HWY 101.

I'll take the "extra weight" and the ability to sit in traffic.

However, the performance and styling of the 993, and your friends '97 S, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
