Never really was a 911 fan. I can't get over the engine being hung out back like that. The Boxster is a better chassis from a handling standpoint, but Porsche will never let a Boxster derivative have more power than a 911 derivative.

I do however really like the 944 turbo S, and the 968 turbo S.

968 turbo S was never sold here, or really anywhere in any sort of quantity.

I like the fact that the 911 has stayed the same body wise and in overall concept.

All one has to do is look a the Ford mustang when it comes to radical change in the 70s to see what a failure that was.

The 911 will always be the most sucessful race car there is lot of evolution in the design something Honda or Toyota will never have

Simply put, the design is timeless. The 911 is an archetype of modern sports car design, and the gradual, deliberate refinements have served that design very well.

I've always been fond of Dr. Porsche's work; the only big dissapointment IMO is the Cayenne.

My dad might move from the BMW camp to get one of those. :happysad: He was considering an M3 but loves the new 911.

Providing the divorce doesn't rob him blind.

I personally like it, I've always been a Porsche fan, I love the way they drive.
