Sorry for the rant. Driving down the freeway and outta the corner of my eye I notice some kids in the pedestrian overpass I about to pass under. Some yellow object is thrown and I can't avoid it without risking hitting adjacent cars or spinning out. The thing thumps really loud on the windshield and leaves a mark but thankfully doesn't crack.

A few years ago I had someone try throwing lit fireworks into my open sunroof in the same scenario. The thing went off just above my roof and caused my ears to ring a bit.

I hate this. Stupid punks.

 

report them to the authorities that's a federal offense i think

 

Problem is, I have no idea who they are or where to find them... because I'm on the freeway and just getting to the location would take several minutes, and they'd be gone.

I saw a group of kids pissing off a catwalk that hovered over a freeway once. Fawking punks. Glad they didn't spray my car.

 

you just report the general location and then cops start patrolling because lives are being put at stake that's what the police do. If there is a disturbance with lives at risk then report it. Just say where it happened on what freeway and the general location so the cops watch out.

 

people have been killed, put into comas, or been seriously injured with that shit. you should have called the cops.

 

A group of kids did that around Thanksgiving in Long Island. They almost killed a lady. Pretty serious stuff. Punks like that piss me off

 

It wasn't on the free way and they didn't throw it off the overpass.

Kids were in another car going the opposite direction and they threw the frozen turkey which put the other driver in a coma.

Regardless, you should have called the police.
