It really helps when your car powers down around a turn, and it's not like NFSUG where your out after a quarter mile race. The bottle last a long time even if you set the shot all the way up. All you do is press R1 when you want to use it.

unless something's changed that's not going to happen either :\ the dual layer thing screws it all up. it'll probably boot to the title screen, if that, then go black. if it does work then by all means let me know

 

If you get it to work it will be news tot the whole GT4 community. Even with my original copy I could not get it to work. I flattened the image like every other DVD9 game and no dice. From the posts I have seen the game expects to see the second layer somehow.

hey, i read the manual, and i couldnt figure out what a-spec points are for. and no one is helping me on here either :happysad:

 

The "manual" is junk. It doesn't explain hardly anything other than how to put the disc i the PS2 and not to play too long. Couple that with the basic controls and the little article on the pricipals of driving near the end and that's 75% of the manual. Hell the copyrights in the back are like 5 pages. The manual the Japanese received was so big they had to make a bigger sleave for it. It was larger (thickness) than the DVD case.

 

the north american manual is a "dumb down" version of how to turn on your PS2.
