The original bypass valves had a lot of problems with breaking apart and sucking foam from the valve into the engine. That has been fixed though.

It still disrupts air flow. You want as smooth inake tract as possible. I think it's safer just to drive with a smart head, instead of this idiot.

I agree with you there.. I went through two within about 3 years and then changed my CAI into a short ram.

Unless he commits fraud by putting his stock intake back on, he won't get a dime out of the apt. complex if they're savvy enough to figure out how it happened. He installed the CAI, it's his fault.

i had a CAI, but then "converted" it to a SRI. much happier. in fact, i took that off, and put the stock intake back in.

I converted my CAI to SRI as well.
