its backed up...now it is saying : "windows could not start because the following files are missing or corupt windows\root\system32\ntoskrnl i'm screwed!!!

if you go into your bios you should have an option to select a Hard Drive Self Diag test, select it, then reboot.

I know it sounds like a software issue, but if you have a bad sector where the system files are you'll get errors like your getting.

Okay so i took it to BB, of course, HD failure. It has been sent out for a new HD, and should be back in 2-3 weeks. I have my desktop from home temporarily but now the ****in internet isnt working. I have to call the stupid resident net people to come and fix it cause i have no idea whats wrong. It shows a connection, but nothing is received (as in information sent) but yea, one headache after another....

I got it working now. Switched the 1394 adapter on and then tried it again. ahh so good to have internet connection again!

Should tried to troubleshoot me with that when I called you man! That 1394 adapter overriding the Enet port in XP is one of my biggest gripes with that OS h:



So when are you gonna be up for some shady IV food man? I'm setting up my surround sound tomorrow, so my pad may be rockin this weekend

Haha yea...i was gonna ask ya but you were on your way to dinner so i didnt wanna bother. But its working now so its all good. Hrm After tomorrow i'll be good i think. Got 2 assignments due tomorrow so i'll be doing that today. Definatelly gotta go check out ur spot though. hehe

'Specially when I start rockin the GT4 in my house It's a little messy right now, and I need to get more groceries, but besides that, the place is definately home, minus Marbles :happysad:
