I have always liked the controller more except in arcades, I attribute this to having a pos steering wheel with no force feedback though, I think I might invest into a nice logitech controller for this game--hell , I have been waiting for it long enough

I would prefer a wheel over a controller, but I can't see myself paying 100+ bucks for it. Though I can imagine the control would be 10x better. The one thing you can't duplicate with an analog controller as opposed to having a wheel is keeping the car consistent on a turn. I always find myself "see-sawing" the stick when I'm on a wide turn where you could probably keep the car still with the wheel. Kinda hard to explain, but I guess you guys know what I'm talking about. h:

best thing to happen for Gran Turismo. I cant play it anymore with the controllers. The new GT4 version is suppose to be more realistic... 900 degrees of turning radius or something like that. the one i have is the old one made for GT3's release. it does the job for me till i can afford the new one.

is there only certain steering wheels that GT3 and so on accept? cause my boy gave me a madcatz one (madcatz 2,..cause he doesnt use it anymore) and when i tried playing GT3 with it,..it wouldnt let me shift with the shifter or accelerate with the foot pedal,..but the car did turn with the turn of the steering wheel

You might have had the controls configured wrong in options.

GT3 took most all controllers.
