es lo mismo mi amigo, two names for the same thing, yeah that Jag straight six is one of the best engines anyone ever came out with. Dad used to have a '72 XKE with a V-12, very pretty roadster, 70 mph in 1st, scared to guess what it would do in 4th

Right around $25 K

Beck, not the loser, the car guy

They list two different VW Type 1 motors, I would get it with a built type IV motor, like they put in the 914, and the later model buses. I like the idea of a motor with the power to move a loaded bus getting into a 1300 lb car

Excellent... I also looked at the Euroworks LTD Attack which is based on the Accord. But, I am a bit weary of its structural integrity. Its certainly a fun family project that everyone can enjoy once its done.

Or maybe a speedster same tubeframe chassis, fiberglass body, similar cost, but available heater, defroster and actual trunk, as well as a bit of storage behind the seats, about 1500-1600 lb I believe. My neighbor is wanting to sell their 1953 MG, not too bad a shape if you like little old limey sleds

If I got something that small I'd get a bug eyed Sprite.

Completely impractical and loads of fun, my dad used to own a Ford Prefect a highly tempermental car but it was loads of fun to drive around in. It was a 4 door hard top though.
