I have a friend that has a SVT Focus. He always runs his mouth about how his car can outhandle s2000s, ITRs, and RSX type S's. He also said its got a fully built motor and fully built suspension from the factory. What do you guys think about that. Will it out handle and be faster in the 1/4 than those?

 

I think people tend to overexaggerate the capabilities of their completely stock cars.

 

In the right hands a Geo Metro could kick the butt of a McLaren F1 in the hands of a noobie.

 

I bet you I can beat an F1 driver driving a Metro with a McLaren in a straight 1/4 track.

 

I mean with equal drivers and such.

 

focuses are alright....but one of my friend has one it barely beats a 94ex with I/H/E so i am not sure about it beating ITR with a good driver

 

the F1 with one gear would run circles around a geo. bad example.

 

Well my LS with Intake and a Header I beat him by 4 1/2 car lengths at the strip.

 

I sure hope so. That would suck if you bought a car with "Some assembly required" in the fine print.

 

My bad, I meant that its got a bunch of internal upgrades from the base model focus. It makes so much more HP he says. He says the suspension has been fully tuned for auto X.
