That or if you have social anxiety or other problems.

My town has over 30K people.

You don't have to lock the car, in fact you can leave the car unlocked, with a nice laptop in the rear seat.

You don't have to lock the door. I've even forgotten to lock the front door a few time and left for a week. Came back and I walked right in the front door. Nothing missing.

Of course there were those terrorists that got arrested by the FBI 4 blocks down from my house.

I live in a small town and i worry everynight about my car being vandalized or broken into...about my house being broken into and me being raped/murdered...people run each other off hte road all the time here..violence is getting as bad as the bigger cities..and drugs and alcohol are out of hand.

Small towns aren't as quiet and innocent as everyone thinks.

York, PA is not a small town... small town < 2500 people in my books. My home town in PA has 1900 people, uncle's place has 400 people... now that is a small town.

I live in Red Lion, PA. Not York. I say i live in York because i live in York County. There's 6000 people in my town. That's small.

we really rank pretty low in crime around here, thankfully. I've never had anything done or robbed from really.

However, when something does happen... ya see it on the news and stuff, but it's so random that I worry. People around here don't pick and choose what house to break into and kill everyone and steal their shit... they just flip a coin or something.

Crime is so random around here that I do lock up, everything, everytime. It doesn't happen often, but when it does... you don't know where it'll be.

by definition a town has to have over x number of residents. I know until recently Danville was a township because they didn't have enough people living in the city limits. now we are a full town! woot! yeah still virtually no crime. that's why i live here.

Now that you mention that... last year the headlines for a month at the town my uncle lives in was the fact that a white girl married a black dude.

ooo, trouble, misogynators, that always cracks me up in Brother Where Art Thou. Small town people are friendlier, that is for sure, and they watch out for each other, I agree, small towns rule
