well duh, i mean if you cant hold a conversation with a girl, then its just not going to happen. MAJORITY of people tend to look at the opposite sex first before they do anything about it. thats the truth. if it happens the other way, great, nothing wrong with that. that just shows that they would be more attracted to each other besides looks, and thats how it should be, but its not.

:goodjob: she is a cutie

keep us posted on how things go. And it seems like those pounds you describe could be part of the ominous "Freshman 15", by the end of the summer they will be gone, no worries.

I'm far less hung up on a girl's weight than most guys, but I draw a line, and I'll tell you why: if a girl is a bit overweight, I honestly don't care. A girl who looks like the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition is probably high maintenance and way too into herself. A little extra weight is actually desirable.

A girl who is carrying an extra 50 pounds of bulk needs to drop some of it, stat. If a girl weighs so much that its unhealthy, that is a huge turnoff. I'm almost 24, and the girls I'm interested in are about the same age. At this point, if a girl can't get her weight into check, she's probably got other issues that I don't want to deal with. Maybe she's a smoker, or she drinks too much, or who knows what else?

For reference, I'm a shade under 6 feet tall, about 157 lbs. I probably weighed about 190 when I went away to college, and I lost some weight every year that I was away.

yeh i agree with you on tha...I mean i've dated one guy who was meaty ( i guess you can say). Didnt make me lessa ttraced to him, and at that time i had shallow friends and they were like wat to do you see in him, hes kinda big and shit..and i didnt care. And now i look back at him and i look at the guys ive dated now..skinny. It all depends on the person. I don't have issue with weight, except like when you said, when it causes a health problem . If your that big, and you can help it but you dont want to, then you have issues within yourself that you need to look into changing. But as far as a lil weight, you need the extra cushion for the pushin :naughty:

and for referece: im about 5'7, and about 120-125lbs. i've gained and lost weight since being in college for bout 2.5 years now. But i can say that i lost weight cuz freshmen year i got food poisioning (didnt eat for bout 3 days) sophomore year got a really bad stomach virus (didnt eat for bout another 3 days) and this semester i've gotten the stomach virus that practically the whole campus got(didnt eat for about a week)..but now im at a weight that i am happy with, and im going to maintain it. I work out to tone up, and just run..keep my metabolism up
