Despite the "half ton" claims, this is far from a full size truck. It's more like a crew cab Tacoma or Frontier.

The Titan doesn't really fit into the full-size class either, it's closer, but not quite.

No, the Titan is of requisite hugeness for the segment.

The Tundra is slightly smaller than other full size trucks unless you order it up in crew cab long bed form and then it's just as gargantuan as the rest of em.

No, the Pilot is a mid size car based SUV.

And no, the Ridgeline is not based on the Pilot. It has its own platform. It has the same driveline as the Pilot but no structural elements are shared.

ah, I've heard something about sharing from the Pilot. I know its the same engine, anyways....

I love that in-bed trunk thing

So basically like I said earlier, compare the Ridgeline to the Tacoma or Frontier crew cabs and it starts to make sense.

It doesn't have a transfer case and it doesn't offer a manual transmission, and it's down a half liter of displacement on those other trucks (they both have 4.0 liter engines with more torque) but for mainstream truck buyers who don't really use that stuff it does offer some nifty features and better ride and handling than yer typical truck.
