Yeah, what he said. Some dvd-/+r media will say on the package that you can print on the label side of them. I know verbatim makes some.

Yep, both of those are true. If you want to have your stuff labeled, your best bet is probably to use a printable dvd, an epson r-series printer, and some krylon gloss coat. Printed dvds tend to smear.

Just burn the disc before you label it --- and realize you won't ever have a high likelyhood of burning on it again.
