funny though i had a conversation with the microsoft tech support people, and this dude from india (cant be fooled by a fellow indian) and i start to try to have a conversation with him, im like, "so hows the weather in bombay?", he replies in a kind of pissed off voice - "im from Calcutta, i dont know bombay."

oh it was too funny.

90% of dell tech support is located in India. Most of these people have at least a BS, if not a PhD in computer related field.

not for tech support. I know some engineers personally in India that work for this company. They make a bit less than $30K/year. Real engineers not tech support :reechy:

Very nicely, some of the best apartments in India rented out for a little over $100. A lot of Indians work in the US or take jobs in India paying in USD, work for 10-15 years and then retire early.
