Do you have one of those people in your class that is so completely stupid its a miracle he even got into college?

There's this kid in my dinosaurs class that acts like a 7th grader, no lie. One time, he says, "I was watching the Land Before Time last night, and the brontosaurus WHOMPED the T-rex with his neck. It was so cool. Did they really do that?"

Or today:
Kid-"How can we tell how old dinos are?"
Prof- "From the growth patterns on their bones, its similar to tree-rings"
Kid- "Do we have that too?"
Prof-"Humans? Yes..."
Kid- "Well what about......jellyfish?"

You can tell he's trying hard to get people to laugh, but no one does, since we all got over that kind of humor in middle school.

No.. I hae people who bitch about doing homework... and work in class and not getting to leave early... or that it's the TEACHER'S fault they got a bad grade.

i know a few people who act like that, but theyre geniuses

 

i know someone who took a Star Wars and Religion class. A dino class seems hardly far fetched.. especially knowing her major.

Yeah i hear you on that one. Or what about the people who talk in small classes and everyone can hear their conversation? Or people who were sleeping in class then have the balls to ask me for the notes.

It just suprises me b/c i busted my ass to get into this school, and these people just don't seem to care.

 

I had the opposite. Incredibly smart people. on a given class the midterm curve was 65 (for b) this person would get 95 and bitch to the TA and successfully argue to get 2 more points.
